Netflix gave the green light to the comedy Atypical, which was produced and directed by Robia Rashid and Seth Gordon, and starred by Jennifer Jason Leigh, Keir Gilchrist and Michael Rapport. Later this year, Netflix will start producing stories about love seeking and independence in Los Angeles. His interesting but painful journey of self discovery made his family rethink life: what is normal? Leigh plays his mother Elsa, who is also on her journey of self discovery; Rapaport plays his father Doug. Brigette Lundy Paine plays Sam's sister Casey, and Amy Okuda plays Sam's therapist Julia< Br/>Gordon will direct the first episode of the play, and will also act as the executive producer together with Rashid and Mary Rohlich
